Q. How does a small company provide such a wide range of services and products?
A. Just like the logistics industry has become more efficient by having things where they need to be just in time, we use a network of technicians and technical partners to have the resources available to you only at the time you need them. This flexible resource management design allows us to not have staff "sitting around," yet provides the infrastructure necessary to respond when needed.
Q. What technologies are within your reach for custom software development?
A. We specialize in using Open Source development and management tools, and provide solutions to run these applications in an Open Source environment, specifically Ubuntu and Fedora Linux distributions. Doing so keeps the costs down for the customer, and often provides a fully customized application at a price far below an off-the-shelf proprietary alternative. However, we understand that many times this does not meet the customers' needs, and we have the technical resources to provide solutions based on Microsoft .Net, VB6, C++, as well as Java.
Q. What is the cost of your services?
A. You shouldn't have to pay for your IT staff to sit around. Neither should you pay large retainers to have your "computer guy" on standby. We charge a small, per-user fee to access our online helpdesk application. From that point, you only pay for the services that are rendered. Most are charged on an hourly basis.
